How it works
Children and teen vision benefits are provided by VSP Vision Care.
You pay nothing for covered services for your kids when they visit a VSP network doctor for:
Comprehensive eye exams
One exam per year
Routine vision screenings
One exam per year
Prescription glasses or contacts
One pair per year

Find an eye doctor
Comprehensive eye exam
In a comprehensive eye exam, an eye doctor will focus on your child or teen’s eye health and overall wellness.
Benefit covers dilation and refraction.
Routine vision screenings
Routine vision screenings check how well your child or teen can see up close and far away.
Additionally, Comprehensive Low Vision Evaluations are covered every 5 years.
Coverage includes low vision optical devices, services, training and instruction.
Vision hardware for kids and teens
Your benefits include:
- One pair of glasses or contacts per year
- Glasses evaluation and fitting
- OR contact lens exam
